AESURG- the Annual Conference of the IAAPS is being organised jointly with the ISAPS Symposium from the 1st through the 4th February 2018 at the Ramada Resort & Spa, Udaipur, Rajasthan. We aim to bring together this time the theme of “ Composite Aesthetic Rejuvenation- Surgical & Nonsurgical” to put forth the concept of Total Aesthetic Correction.
We have been having in the past excellent scientific feasts, mostly with emphasis on surgical procedures, and rightly so. But as we all know, Non surgical options are fast gaining popularity in the aesthetic realm, as standalone treatments as well as adjuvant treatments to complete/ enhance the aesthetic correction in any individual. Worldwide, plastic surgeons have been at the forefront of nonsurgical procedures, especially injectables, but we have been a little slow in adopting them.
It is a pleasure to have the ISAPS SYMPOSIUM for the year 2018 once again in our country. This is being held along with AESURG in the lovely locale of Udaipur. The demand for aesthetic surgery in India is increasingly by leaps and bounds.
It is very important to remain abreast with the latest developments all over the world, and such meetings help bolster our academic reserves.
They also provide knowledge to the youngster stepping into the sphere of aesthetic surgery with discussions on all the latest advances and updates.
I must congratulate Dr. Lokesh Kumar, the previous Indian National Secretary of ISAPS, for having organised the “ISAPS Course” in different tourist destinations in our country.
Udaipur, the City of Lakes, is considered to be one of the top tourist destinations in the world. The city is unrivalled in its scenic beauty, both natural and man-made. It boasts of picturesque lakes, hills and splendid historic structures that form an integral part of the rich cultural heritage of our nation. Udaipur is located in the state of Rajasthan in north-west India. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, it was the first capital of the erstwhile kingdom of Mewar. The city comprises of five major lakes, namely Fatehsagar, Rangasagar, Pichola, Swaroopsagar and Dudhtalai. Apart from this, Udaipur is also famous for its palaces from the Rajput era. Tourism is the foremost industry for the people of Udaipur. In the year 2009, the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine chose Udaipur to be the Best City in the World.
With the biggest giants in the hospitality industry operating their resorts and hotels in the city, namely the Taj Lake Palace, the Oberoi Udaivilas and the Leela Palace, Udaipur has for quite some time now been the favored destination for corporate honchos to conduct their end of year parties and important business get together. Udaipur, unlike any other city, lures any potential recruiter with the added benefit of a visit to the beautiful city along with his work.
